Teaching Oral and Written English Proficiency

This course is designed for in-service teachers and students accepted to the teacher-education programme. During this course the student will work systematically with selected aspects of English grammar and pronunciation with focus on when and how these can be presented to pupils of different ages and different levels. The purpose of the course is that students will develop the ability to work communicatively with grammar and pronunciation in their teaching of oral and written proficiency at different school levels. The course is completely web-based without physical meetings. The teaching is comprised of web-based lectures with knowledge checks as well as synchronous and asynchronous discussions via a digital teaching platform. The course requires access to a headset and webcam.
