Textile Overview - Dyeing and finishing

Do you want to know how your clothes are dyed, pre- and post-treated before they become attractive and comfortable for you to wear? Do you want to know about the progress that is done within resource efficient dyeing and finishing processes towards a more sustainable textile production? Then this is the course for you. This course gives you fundamental knowledge in the textile value chain towards dyeing and finishing. You will learn about the required processes necessary for fabrics that provides them with their special characteristics. You will also get insight into how companies set up requirement specifications, verify these against standardized test methods and how they can contribute to sustainable development based on legislation and personal responsibility. This course is for: • You who lack a textile bachelor but are interested in our master's program in textile technology • The textile industry and the public sector who see a need for basic knitting knowledge • You who want to learn industrial knitting (not hand knitting).
