The course covers the following: - theories of professional teacher leadership in the classroom, with a focus on relational aspects in relation to students' commitment and motivation, - theories of group dynamics and strategies for conflict prevention and conflict management from the perspective of professional teacher leadership, - general educational perspectives on pedagogical leadership, as well as teachers' rights and responsibilities according to school policy documents, - teachers' professional attitudes and approaches in teaching and communication related to students' identity, sexuality, and relationships, - professional teacher leadership in relation to diversity in the classroom, - challenges in communication and learning, - professional ethical aspects of the teacher's role, - collaboration with students, colleagues, guardians, and other relevant parties, such as various authorities, - teachers' opportunities to create meaningful and stimulating teaching through the use of digital learning resources, and - the application of professional leadership to create conditions for learning in the digital classroom.

Entry requirements

Completed Teachers' pedagogical approach 2 - Music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, and at least 120 ECTS credits of subject studies in the Music Teacher Education Programme, or equivalent
