The course explores technology based on examples taken from the student‘s everyday life and modern society. The nature, variability and limits of technology are problematised. The technical content is related to various didactic approaches and working methods, as well as the content described in applicable policy documents. The course includes identifying technology in the surrounding environment and the practical and digital translation of technology. In the course, students also use discipline-based education research as a starting point to plan, implement and evaluate their own teaching in technology. Students apply and discuss a subject-integrated approach with the help of aesthetic forms of expression in relation to teaching and learning in pedagogical activities such as preschool class, primary school and extended school.
General entry requirements and a minimum of 30 credits within a Teacher Education in addition, is required English 6 or equivalent.
