SÄvÀl den vÀstliga tanketraditionen som den bibliska har en ambivalent syn pÄ arbete. Att arbeta innebÀr att vara handlingskraftig och skapande. Arbete Àr en berikande fritidsaktivitet. Men att arbeta innebÀr ocksÄ hÄrt fysiskt trÀlande, bestraffning och olycka. Arbete stÄr dÀrför ocksÄ för nödvÀndighetens hÄrda lag och mÀnniskans begrÀnsade villkor. Med hjÀlp av nÄgra filosofer vill denna kurs belysa hur en tudelad syn pÄ arbete Àr möjlig, samt vilka konsekvenserna blir för mÀnniskan nÀr hon lever upp till den ena eller andra synen.

Entry requirements

General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits).
