Overview
Såväl den västliga tanketraditionen som den bibliska har en ambivalent syn på arbete. Att arbeta innebär att vara handlingskraftig och skapande. Arbete är en berikande fritidsaktivitet. Men att arbeta innebär också hårt fysiskt trälande, bestraffning och olycka. Arbete står därför också för nödvändighetens hårda lag och människans begränsade villkor. Med hjälp av några filosofer vill denna kurs belysa hur en tudelad syn på arbete är möjlig, samt vilka konsekvenserna blir för människan när hon lever upp till den ena eller andra synen.
