3R for Sustainability Managers: Regulations, Rules, and Reporting

Sustainability is now a key lever for a company's long-term strategy, business model, product offerings and operations. It is integral to boardroom goals, leadership performance, management incentives and innovation metrics. Regulations, Rules, and Reporting are the key drivers for company sustainability today. Sustainability managers are expected to be well versed not only with these 3Rs but also in how they connect to a company's business model, value chain and decarbonisation pathways. Additionally, sustainability professionals are expected to make a business case for future sustainability investments of a company combining a return on investment (ROI) model with a forward-looking climate risk management and mitigation framework. The purpose of this course is to progressively build the capabilities to comprehensively understand and apply the global and regional regulations, rules and reporting requirements for operationalising the long-term sustainability goals, targets and KPIs as per a company's business model, value chain and sectoral specifications. **Outline for distance course**: The course is completely web-based and the teaching is based on a learning management system. Access to a computer with speakers, microphone, camera and internet connection is required to follow the course.
