Overview
The course integrates advanced practice of language proficiency with theoretical tools for analysing and discussing key social and cultural issues in Chinese. The course introduces the Hegelian dialectical framework for constructing logically organised and balanced spoken arguments. Students work with different Chinese-language sources to collect, critically evaluate, and compile information to support their arguments.
