Overview
Kursen behandlar fiktion och berättande i olika medier som på olika sätt är knuten till framtid, såsom science fiction och klimatfiktion, dystopier och framtidsutopier. Studenten får en bred överblick över området framtidsfiktioner med historisk och teoretisk grund, men ges också tillfälle att fördjupa sig analytiskt i särskilt intressanta verk. Särskilt vikt kommer att läggas på att belysa exempel från andra kultursfärer än den västerländska/europeiska, genom vilket globala framtidsperspektiv kommer att adresseras. Särskilt lyfter kursen fram framtidsfiktioners funktion som kritik och problematisering av samtiden.
