Overview
The course in mathematical methods focuses on applied mathematical methods used within economics. Since economic theory often assumes some form of minimising or maximising behaviour, optimisation in different forms will be a core part of the course. Also, methods that go from marginal to total analysis are important, for example integral calculus.
