Overview
In this course we present some advanced topics in quantum mechanics, whose foundations were set in the course 4FY819 Quantum Mechanics II. Course content typically includes path integrals, an introduction to the formal scattering theory and relativistic wave equations, with additional input and variation from year to year. The student final project, which is part of the student evaluation, aims at applying some of the course content to research problems of present interest in modern condensed matter physics and quantum field theory.
