Overview
This is a course for students who have already taken a course on the advanced level orienting them in a central area in theoretical philosophy. Through readings, lectures, discussion, and written work, students are given the opportunity to focus on one or several research questions in that area. The course is to a high degree research oriented. It focusses specifically on how the relevant question(s) are discussed in contemporary literature. The goal is the development of the skills necessary to contribute independently to the relevant debate. Which areas of specialization we offer courses in will vary from semester to semester and be announced in good time before the courses begin.

Entry requirements
För tillträde till kursen krävs: - minst 90 hp i filosofi med analytisk inriktning, inklusive ett examensarbete på minst 15 hp i teoretisk filosofi, eller - en kandidatexamen om 180 hp varav minst 90 hp ska bestå av filosofi med analytisk inriktning, eller motsvarande. - Samt godkänt resultat om minst 15 hp från FTW200, FTW210, FTW220 eller FTW230, eller motsvarande. Dessutom krävs Engelska 6/Engelska B eller motsvarande nivå från ett internationellt erkänt test som till exempel TOEFL eller IELTS.
