Du får introduktion till typologin som vetenskapsområde och möjlighet att utveckla din förståelse för språkliga strukturer i allmänhet och i afrikanska språk i synnerhet. You will be introduced to the field of typology and you will have an opportunity to further develop your understanding of linguistic structures in general, and structures in African languages in particular. The focus is on the sound system, morphology and syntax.

Entry requirements
To be admitted to the course, students must have completed the course AF1111 and an additional 15 credits in one or several of the subjects Arabic, Somali, Swahili, linguistics or other non-European languages spoken in Africa, or the equivalent. Exception is made to the requirement for Swedish as a general entry requirement.
