<p>In this course you will learn, among other things, how to use programs that can derive the entire genome sequence of an organism by linking millions of short sequences in the correct order. You will also learn how to study activity patterns of all genes of an organism, using programs that analyze sequences from RNA samples. In addition, you will also learn how to work with bioinformatic analysis software in a UNIX/Linux environment.</p>

Entry requirements
Entry requirements for this course: attended BV713A Library Preparation and Sequencing Technologies A1N (or the equivalent). A further requirement is proof of skills in English equivalent of studies at upper secondary level in Sweden, known as the Swedish course English 6 or English level 2. This is normally demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized language test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL.
