Overview
This course offers the students an introduction to modern quantitative analytical chemistry with emphasis on spectroscopic, chromatographic and electrochemical methods. Basic analytical nomenclature and statistics as well as sampling techniques will be covered by the course material. The theoretical and the practical parts of this course are of equal size. The practical part of the course will highlight recent analytical problems and is also a support to the more theoretical part and the individual exercises

For admission to the course, completed courses KEM011 Basic chemistry 1 (15 credits) and KEM021 Basic chemistry 2 (15 credits) or equivalent knowledge are required.
