Overview
Kursen behandlar metoder för att lagra och bearbeta data samt tekniker för att utveckla och driftsätta databasdrivna webbaserade flerskiktade system. Den behandlar även hur man kan dra nytta av webbtjänster baserade på SOAP och json och andra webb-apier i de system man utvecklar. Kursen baserar sig på ASP.NET MVC, ENTITY FRAMEWORK, C-Sharp, Visual Studio och SQL Server. Under kursens senare del bedrivs ett verklighetsnära projekt.

Minst 60 hp avklarade kurser inom huvudområdet Medieteknik eller Datavetenskap eller minst två års sammanlagda studier. Dessutom krävs Databasteknik och webbaserade system, 7.5 hp (5TF048) eller Databasteknik, 7.5 hp (5DV120) eller motsvarande.
