Overview
The student performs a practical task in the field of biology under supervision externally at companies, institutes or authorities, or in one of the biology institutions. The task can be a scientific research or application of previously acquired knowledge in an area chosen by the student in consultation with the supervisor and examiner. The course can be given in English for individual students if certified by the supervisor at the department.

För tillträde till kursen krävs: Alternativ 1: Godkänd BIO900, Cellbiologi, 15 hp, BIO905, Molekylär genetik, 15 hp, BIO910, Organismvärldens form och funktion, 15 hp, BIO915, Ekologi och evolution, 15 hp samt BIO920, Biodiversitet och och systematik, 15 hp Alternativ 2: Godkänd Biologi, baskurs, 60 hp Alternativ 3: Godkänd Molekylärbiologi I och II, baskurs, 60 hp. För alla alternativen krävs dessutom minst en fördjupningskurs i biologi, 15 hp.
