Overview
Aristoteles var Platons främste elev men kom att grunda en egen filosofisk tradition. På kursen följer vi utvecklingen av det vetenskapliga tänkandet i hans metodologiska diskussioner, särskilt den viktiga filosofisk-begreppsliga verktygslåda han utvecklar, som utövar inflytande ända in vår tid. Vi undersöker också hans syn på människans natur och mål som individ och samhällsvarelse. Stor vikt läggs vid studium av primärtexter.

General admission requirements for university studies. Students taking part in the course as a part of their Bachelor’s degree program must have completed Course A, Introduction in Philosophy and Theology (30 ECTS credits). Students taking part in the course as a freestanding course are expected to have corresponding prior knowledge.
