<p>I denna kurs arbetar studenten med en ämnesfördjupning i form av ett självständigt arbete inom huvudområdet för sin utbildning på grundnivå. Studenten ska utifrån en egen forskningsplan självständigt utföra ett uppsatsarbete och individuellt färdigställa en slutgiltig examensuppsats. Under ett slutseminarium ger studenterna en muntlig presentation av sitt arbete. Studenten försvarar också sitt arbete i en kritisk diskussion. Ytterligare ett inslag i kursen är att läsa och kritiskt diskutera någon av de studentrapporter som presenteras på slutseminariet. Kursen bedrivs i form av självständigt arbete, handledning samt seminarier.</p>

Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires passed courses of at least 60 credits in the main field of study of Cognitive Neuroscience. Of these 60 credits, at least 30 credits must be at minimum G1F-level and the courses KU536G Research Methods: Techniques in Cognitive Neuroscience G2F and KU540G Research Methods: Scientific Experiment in Cognitive Neuroscience G2F must be included (or the equivalent). Additional requirements: Attended KU534G Cognitive Neuroscience: Degree and Employment Preparation G2F with passed grade on the examination part 1001 Research Plan, 5 credits (or the equivalent).
