Overview
Programmet ger dig kunskap att utveckla tekniska lösningar för hav, fartyg och undervattensmiljöer genom en kombination av maskinteknik, elektroteknik och tillämpad IT. Du läser bland annat matematik, programmering, materiallära, CAD, elektronik och marin konstruktion, och tränar på att bygga prototyper, förstå marina system och arbeta enligt principen design, build, test. Utbildningen kopplar teori till verkliga projekt och examensarbete i samarbete med branschen samt ger förståelse för nautiska förhållanden och hur komplexa system fungerar tillsammans. I en tid då säkerhet, energiomställning och hållbar användning av havets resurser blir allt viktigare behövs ingenjörer som kan bidra med praktisk systemförståelse och nya tekniska lösningar. Efter examen kan du arbeta som utvecklingsingenjör, systemdesigner, produktionstekniker eller teknisk projektledare inom marin industri, energi, försvar och närliggande teknikområden.
