Overview
The Bachelor’s Programme in Dance is for you who are interested in learning through dance and who want to work as artists in the professional field of contemporary dance. The work as a dance artist largely consists of being able to immerse yourself into physical, choreographic and intellectual practices. It also involves knowing how to relate to your own artistic practice often in collaborations and collective processes. In particular, the work is about how, what and why you want to communicate with an audience. The programme focuses on these practices, working methods and processes. Practice is interwoven with theory in the form of analysis, discussion and practical reflection, and the combined content of the programme prepares students for work as artists in the professional field of contemporary dance. The work as a dance artist largely consists of being able to immerse yourself into physical, choreographic and intellectual practices.
