Overview
Do you want to work with a sustainable energy transition, in consumption and production? This transition - locally and globally - requires interdisciplinary competence and a broad understanding of the challenges and possibilities - social, economic and environmental. This programme is for you who see a leadership role as exciting and want to contribute positively to a sustainable energy transition, in Sweden or internationally. The programme is located at Campus Gotland, in Visby on the Baltic Island of Gotland, Sweden. The programme gives you the knowledge and understanding needed to evaluate the challenges and solutions for a sustainable energy transition in all three dimensions of sustainability - social, economic and environmental. We offer an interdisciplinary education that combines natural science, social science and engineering, to stimulate a wider understanding and grant the ability to handle the interlinked challenges of energy transition and sustainability holistically. The programme prepares you for a leadership role, training you to engage with experts from various fields and manage people across cultural and professional boundaries. Through active learning and group work, you will develop skills in communication, teamwork and leadership – qualities highly valued by employers. Career opportunities can be found in national or international companies as well as not-for-profit organisations and governmental authorities on different levels
