Overview
The course is aimed at clarinetists who want to develop their bass clarinet playing. You will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and develop your playing, both as a soloist and in an ensemble. You will work with selected repertoire and develop effective methods for practice and rehearsal. You will also explore the bass clarinet’s role in orchestral music and practise shaping and expressing your own musical ideas. Teaching consists of group lessons and individual practice. You will practise both independently and together with others. The course includes advanced techniques such as tone production, articulation, timbre, and finger techniques. You will also work on solo pieces for bass clarinet. The course is suitable for professional musicians, music teachers, and students at music academies.
