Overview
Kursen behandlar relationen mellan teologi, biologi, och evolution. Begreppet ”naturlig teologi” diskuteras. Relationen mellan teologiska skapelseberättelser och evolutionsbiologi diskuteras. De teologiska och etiska frågor som biologisk och evolutionär forskning väcker, såsom till exempel frågan om människans relation till skapelsen och frågor om människors relation till varandra (till exempel makthierarkier) i ljuset av evolutionär forskning, behandlas. Möjligheter och begränsningar i naturvetenskapliga teorier, metoder och sanningsbegrepp problematiseras. I viss mån kommer även relaterade frågor om relationen mellan kosmologi, fysik och teologi att beröras.
