Kursen behandlar olika länders redovisningssystem och internationella likheter och skillnader i redovisningen, reglering och standardisering och frågor rörande redovisningens roll, praktik och utformning. Kursen omfattar följande teman: - redovisningens historia - teoretiska utvecklingslinjer och framväxten av redovisningens föreställningsram - nationella och internationella institutioners framväxt och betydelse för redovisningens reglering - aktuella redovisningsproblem - aktuell forskning inom externredovisning utifrån olika teoretiska perspektiv. Övrigt:Viss undervisning kan komma att hållas på engelska.
