Overview
Students write a thesis based on an independent research project in business administration. In consultation with the supervisor, students choose a topic for the thesis project, which is carried out individually or in groups of two students. In addition to completing the written thesis, the research project includes planning and conducting relevant literature studies, conducting empirical investigations, analysing results, and presenting conclusions. As support for the research project and thesis writing, the course offers both seminars and supervision. In an introductory planning seminar, students present and discuss plans for their own projects and those of others. In a halfway seminar, students present and discuss the results of their own literature studies and those of others, and their choices of research and analysis methods. In a final seminar, students defend their own work and perform as peer reviewers of the work of others, as well as informed members of the audience. Supervision is offered for the duration of the course in connection with the seminars up until the final seminar. Reregistered students are only offered supervision if circumstances permit.
