Overview
I kursen introduceras det specialpedagogiska fältet och studie- och yrkesvägledarens roll för individer i behov av särskilt stöd. Centrala begrepp inom det specialpedagogiska fältet, exempelvis extra anpassningar, särskilt stöd, inkludering, tillgängliga lärmiljöer, delaktighet samt en skola för alla diskuteras med hjälp av relevanta specialpedagogiska perspektiv. Under kursen presenteras aktuell kunskap och forskning om fysiska- och intellektuella funktionsnedsättningar, inbegripet neuropsykiatriska svårigheter. Vidare behandlas uppväxtfaktorer och sociala miljöers betydelse för individers livsvillkor. Slutligen problematiseras hur vägledningsmetoder och färdigheter kan anpassas för att möta individer i behov av stöd.
