Kursen utgår från ett normkritiskt perspektiv och behandlar studie- och yrkesorientering samt sociala kategoriers betydelse för karriärutveckling. **Modul 1** **Teoretiska perspektiv på karriärutveckling, 7,5 hp** ^[Theoretical Perspectives on Career Development]^ I modulen behandlas och belyses karriärutveckling och social skiktning utifrån sociala kategorier, främst på gruppnivå. Med hjälp av aktuell vetenskaplig litteratur studeras skillnader mellan olika grupper och därmed belyses handlingsutrymmet för förändring. **Modul 2** **Samhälle, individen och karriärutveckling, 7,5 hp** ^[Society, the Individual, and Career Development]^ I modulen behandlas och fördjupas kunskaper om karriärutveckling och social skiktning, främst på individnivå. **Modul 3 Fördjupningsarbete, 7,5 hp** ^[Depth of Study]^ I modulen genomför studenten fördjupade studier av valda delar av kursinnehållet i Modul 1 och 2.
