Module1 - introduction to teacher education and the teaching profession - the concept society is introduced and problematised - basic subject-specific teaching theories are presented and problematised and basic subject-specific issues are applied to the school subject civics - the mass media and ICT in today's society and school are presented and problematised in terms of subject teaching and societal perspectives. Module 2 - a basic sociological perspective on society is presented and problematised - a basic legal perspective on society is presented and problematised - sustainable development is discussed in a sociological perspective with special emphasis on international situations - the sociological and legal aspects are related to the concept society through subject teaching and identity formation theories and applications. Module 3 - a basic economics perspective on society with an emphasis on microeconomic theory is presented and problematised - a basic private economy perspective is presented and problematised - the economics perspective is related to the concept society through subject teaching and identity formation theories and applications.
