Overview
Kursens mål är att ge dig grundläggande kunskaper om samhällsutvecklingen i Egypten, Främre Orienten, Grekland och på Kreta från äldsta tid till 1000 f.Kr., om medelhavsområdets, framför allt Greklands, kultur och samhällsliv, från omkring 1000 f.Kr. till omkring 300 f.Kr., och om romarrikets kultur och samhällsliv från omkring 300 f.Kr. till omkring 500 e.Kr.. Du får dessutom övning i grundläggande källkritik och i beskrivning och tolkning av arkeologiskt och konstvetenskapligt material.
