Overview
Kursen innehåller verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU) inom ambulanssjukvård och/eller inom närliggande specialitet. I kursen ingår att bedöma, planera och genomföra olika åtgärder samt dokumentera, rapportera och utvärdera omvårdnad till sjuk och/eller skadade personer. Dessutom ingår att ge stöd, information och vägledning till sjuk och/eller skadad person samt dennes närstående. Teamarbete, planering av organisation, arbetsmiljö och säkerhet inom ambulanssjukvård ingår också i kursen. Reflektioner kring betydelsen av egna värderingar och aspekter på klass, genus, etnicitet och etik behandlas i relation till kursens innehåll och verksamhetsområden. I kursen behandlas även teknisk apparatur, samt relevanta styrdokument inom omvårdnad i ambulanssjukvård.
