Overview
The master’s program in Clinical Optometry is designed for licensed optometrists and other qualified professionals working in eye care who wish to develop their clinical and scientific competence. The program strengthens your ability to make independent clinical decisions, interpret diagnostic findings, and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care. The program is part-time and via distance learning, allowing for parallel employment. A few mandatory in-person sessions are held in Kalmar each term.

Basic eligibility for second-level studies and special eligibility: - Degree in optometry comprising 180 credits, or a bachelor's degree in optometry. Alternatively, a nursing license and a nursing degree comprising 180 credits, along with an additional 60 credits of specialized studies in ophthalmic care - Swedish 3 - English 6 or equivalent
