Kursen behandlar olika förbränningstekniker för fasta, flytande och gasformiga bränslen. Olika typer av pannor studeras, dess konstruktion, reglering och tillämpningar för värme och kraftvärmeproduktion. I kursen ingår även tekniker för rökgasrening. Kursen är uppdelad i två moment, ett teorimoment om 6 hp (Theory, 6 ECTS) och ett laborationsmoment om 1.5 hp (Laboratory, 1.5 ECTS).
