Communication in an Intercultural Business Environment

This course focuses on the practical and personal development of students’ intercultural communication. The first module, Intercultural Competence, focuses on the development of students’ intercultural communication knowledge and skills which can be applied in the future when they are communicating orally and in writing within an intercultural business environment. Several intercultural aspects will be considered, such as face to face and online communication forms, reader and audience analysis, the structure of communication, language, formality and clarity. In the second module, Intercultural Communication Analysis, analyses of self-awareness and communication are discussed. In the third module, Project and Written Business Report, students complete a case study project with a persuasive business report.
