<p>Kursens övergripande syfte är att fördjupa kunskapen om och förståelsen för olika politiska system i ett jämförande perspektiv.</p><p>Kursens fokus är teorier kring statsskick, politiska system och förvaltningsmodeller samt olika metoder för jämförelser. I detta avseende kommer EU:s politik, struktur och förvaltning tillsammans med Mellanösterns- och Nordafrikas politisksociologi utgöra väsentliga inslag i denna kurs.</p><p>I samband med Mellanöstern och Nordafrika erbjuder kursen relevanta och effektiva inblickar i dessa regioners historiska, sociala, politiska och ekonomiska omständigheter.</p>
