Kursen bygger vidare på den grund som lades i Konfliktlösning: Konfliktkunskap. Kursen behandlar kommunikation i konfliktsituationer och betonar icke- våldskommunikation, intressebaserade förhandlingar, och medling. Stor vikt läggs vid kommunikationsrutiner som inte väcker försvarsreaktioner och som skapar känslomässig kontakt. Medling är en process där en neutral tredje person hjälper parterna att kommunicera kring sin konflikt på ett kreativt sätt. Kursen erbjuder träning i konflikthantering.
