Kursen ger kunskap om grundläggande teorier för konflikter och konflikthantering. Den behandlar konstruktiva metoder för att hantera konflikter i allmänhet, och i arbetslivet i synnerhet. Grundperspektivet är att konflikten är parternas egendom, att tredje part har uppgiften att underlätta problemlösande dialog och att konflikter kan hanteras så att alla parters behov och intressen tillgodoses. Kursen erbjuder träning i konflikthantering. Drama och rollspel är betydande inslag i studierna.
