It provides an overview of in-depth knowledge in areas such as human security and sustainable peace, human rights, sustainable development, and regional integration and organization. Students become acquainted with the development of political, economic, and social systems, key conflicts within the region, regional and global integration, cultural characteristics and human rights, as well as current regional opportunities and challenges in the areas of peace and development.
