Overview
Kursens syfte är att ge teoretiska och metodologiska verktyg för att hantera frågor om hållbarhet och brukande av kulturarv, praktiskt såväl som teoretiskt. Med utgångspunkt från hållbarhetsbegreppet ger kursen ingång till förståelse för spänningsfältet mellan bevarande och brukande. Med bland annat utgångspunkt från det industrialiserade samhällets lämningar erbjuder kursens litteratur översikter för att bättre förstå hur teorier kan omsättas i konkret verksamhet på museer eller inom kulturarvsturism. Kursen belyser också aspekter på social hållbarhet i relation till historiebruk och bevarande. Kursen vänder sig till alla som arbetar med eller är intresserade av kulturarvsfrågor.
