Overview
This course covers methods for generating data sets for further analysis by merging and processing data from several "big data" data sources, analysis of data quality, data visualization and machine learning methods. These methods are implemented using an appropriate software package. The course is to a large extent based on computer-based project work.

Entry requirements
Admission to the course requires a minimum of 30 credits of Statistics, of which at least 15 credits have obtained a passing grade, or 60 credits of Economics, of which at least 45 credits have obtained a passing grade, or 60 credits of Finance, of which at least 45 credits have obtained a passing grade.
