Overview
I kursen ges en inblick i dagens IT-samhälle och informationssystem. Denna teoretiska kunskap blandas med praktiskt arbete inom webbutveckling där studenten skapar en webbplats med krav på funktion, innehåll och struktur. Därutöver behandlas presentationsteknik och högskolestudier introduceras. I kursen ingår även en introduktion till akademiskt skrivande där studenten genomför ett akademiskt arbete. I arbetet ingår att söka och värdera information samt skriva, presentera och opponera på en akademisk rapport. Studenten arbetar i grupp för att genomföra delar av kursens uppgifter. Kursen behandlar grupputveckling samt verktyg för att driva grupparbeten. Vidare behandlar kursen grundläggande tekniker inom programmering.
