Overview
<p>This competitive programme teaches methods for analysis, processing and transmission of large-scale data and signals, using tools from machine learning, signal processing, and information and communication theory. Choose among three specialisations: Images and Vision, Data Science, and Connectivity. The third semester has a compulsory project course during which you learn about project management and apply your knowledge to solve a larger problem. The final semester is devoted to your thesis, which may be carried out in collaboration with a tech company. Linköping University has world-class research in computer vision, data science, and the development of 6G – the next-generation cellular network technology. As a student, you will be fully immersed in this environment. We can help put you in touch with groups and companies in these fields.</p>

Entry requirements
A bachelor's degree equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen with a major in one of the following or equivalent subject areas: - electrical engineering - computer engineering - computer science - applied physics - mathematics 30 ECTS credits in mathematics/applied mathematics and/or application of mathematics relevant for the programme, including courses in linear algebra and probability theory. A course in basic programming English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (Engelska 6 or Engelska nivå 2). Exemption from Swedish.
