Overview
I kursen skall studenten självständigt utforma ett examensarbete inom ett avgränsat område inom maskinteknik. Uppgiften består i att formulera mål och syfte, insamla empiri och utföra undersökningar. Bakgrundsmaterial inhämtas till exempel genom litteraturstudie och observationer. Resultatet av insamlad bakgrunsempiri och egna undersökningar analyseras samt bearbetas till en rapport som också redovisas muntligt och skriftligt. Under projektets gång sker också muntliga presentationer och diskussioner i seminarieform samt handledning av utsedd handledare.
