<p>Description</p> <p>After the course the student should have experience in scientific research, reporting, and analysis of scientific results. The project work is normally part of a research project at one of the research groups at the department, but it can also be done at a company, government agency, etc. The work usually contains both theoretical and experimental elements, but entirely theoretical projects are also possible. Course literature is selected in discussion with the supervisor. After completion the work, it is summarized as a written scientific report and presented at a seminar.</p> <p>Prerequisites</p> <p>At least 90 higher education credits (hec) in chemistry and a Bachelor degree are required. Approved courses must be appropriate for the subject area. As a student, you have the responsibility to contact the supervisor and examiner before being accepted to the course. In connection with these contacts, then you should show that you have the courses required for the subject area. Choice of project assignment is done in a discussion with the subject examiner and the supervisor. The date for starting the course is also decided in the discussions with subject examiner and supervisor.</p>
