Overview
The course will provide knowledge of the research process and research methods in Exercise Biomedicine, with a focus on training and / or performance with an exercise physiology perspective. In addition, the student should learn independent planning, implementation and reporting of advanced research within the exercise physiology field. Furthermore, the course content includes specialization in research design and statistical methods for analysis of data, mainly in Biomedicine – exercise physiology and performance, and the link between research design and statistical methods.
Admission scores
Entry requirements
Bachelor of Science, or the equivalent of 180 Swedish credit points or 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university, with a major in Exercise Biomedicine, Biomedicine, Physiotherapy or Sport Science including an independent project 15 credits. The courses Scientific Methods Oriented Towards Natural Sciences 7.5 credits and Sustainable Exercise for Health Promotion - Theory and Practice, on the Second cycle, and Anatomy and Physiology 15 credits and Exercise Training 7.5 credits. English 6 or English level 2. Exemption of the requirement in Swedish is granted for those with foreign grades.
