In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and have documented skills in English language. Exemption for Swedish A and B / Swedish 1-3. and for admission to this course the student must also have attained 90 credits for the courses which may be included in the Bachelor Programme in Sociology, of which 75 credits must be from the compulsory courses in years 1 and 2. The following courses should be included in this and be completed entirely with at least a pass grade: Methods in sociology I (S0047A) 15 credits, Applied sociological analysis and methods (S0059A) 15 credits, and Essay writing in sociology (S0060A) 7.5 credits or equivalent.
