Overview
I kursen introduceras ett teologiskt och religionsvetenskapligt studium av diakoni och hur det gestaltas av trossamfunden och trosbaserade organisationer i Sverige idag. Inledningsvis ges även en introduktion till diakonivetenskap som ett kunskaps- och forskningsområde. Ett fokus i kursen är olika tolkningar av religion, diakoni och välfärdssamhälle i ett nutida perspektiv av globalisering och migration. Kursen lyfter även fram frågor om hållbarhet och genus, liksom etiska, teologiska och politiska problemställningar.
