Overview
Denna kurs ger en teoretisk och praktisk introduktion till långsiktigt digitalt bevarande. Under kursen får studenten en genomgång av centrala teorier, metoder och begrepp inom området. Vidare innehåller kursen en genomgång av begrepp och tekniska aspekter på bevarande (format, integritet, autencitet, hantering av metadata) och hur dessa tillämpas i praktiken. Modeller som används vid digitalt bevarande, t ex Reference model for an open archival information system (OAIS-modellen), kommer också att introduceras. Kursen riktar sig i första hand till personer som redan är verksamma vid arkiv och informationsförvaltande organisationer eller närliggande sektorer.
