Kursen introducerar det audiovisuella berättandets grunder. I kursens första modul, Dramaturgins idéer och strukturer, behandlas och tillämpas dramaturgins principer och strukturer genom eget filmberättande med hjälp av ett program för manusskrivande. Den andra modulen, Manusskrivande och reflektion, omfattar den egna skrivprocessen samt analys och reflektion över egna och andras manus och filmer i förhållande till dramaturgiska och filmhistoriska aspekter, liksom olika former för medieproduktion och distribution.
