Varför finns det så många olika arter? Hur kan organismer överleva i öknar, regnskogar eller i djupa havet? Och hur påverkar allt levande varandra? I den här kursen får du följa livets utveckling från de allra första cellerna till dagens enorma variation av organismer. Du lär dig hur arter bildas, hur de är släkt med varandra och hur de anpassar sig till sina miljöer. Vi undersöker också hur levande varelser samspelar - till exempel som rovdjur och byte, parasit och värd, som konkurrenter eller i symbios. Tillsammans utforskar vi naturens olika nivåer, från genen och individen till hela ekosystem och jordens stora biom. Det här är kursen för dig som vill förstå naturen och få en bättre bild av hur allt liv på jorden hänger ihop.
